(yes, I know this is technically a problem that all people have themselves, but we assume that other people that we see *do* have a consciousness and we tend not to worry about it in the everyday)
For that matter, even if a silicon (or other material) machine was conscious, we could never prove to it that any of us was experiencing consciousness either. |
